We, Ralph and Charlotte will emigrate to the Costa Blanca in Spain, at the end of March 2022. Very exciting and we are looking forward to it!
Together, we have 3 young adult children, Tim, Nicolai and Sophie and they inspired us for the name of Finca Tiñiso. Since they all flew the nest, we decided to sell our organic restaurant, The Broth Bar in Maastricht, and start a new life in this beautiful country. We have worked in hospitality all our lives, but Ralph also has a career of 30 years in the textile business, which is also vivid in this area in Spain.
The area around Murcia, also known as 'La Huerta de España', has good grounds and we are situated between Valencia, Alicante and Murcia. From Maastricht, there is a direct connection to Alicante, and the drive inlands to Cocentaina is about 45 minutes.
We bought a casa rural, a lovely finca, with a good piece of land next to it, 2 water wells, olive trees, fruit trees and a swimming pool. An organic vegetable garden will need to be planted and in May, we start the build-up of a holiday rental lodge for guests. Availability will be from the 15th of June on.
Meanwhile, Charlotte is in the proces of writing of a Dutch health book. We promised our guests a compilation of The Broth Bar recipes, but in the meantime it has grown into a full-blown book. She has incorporated many questions into the book, questions on a wide variety of topics, but they always had to do with food and health, digestion, intestinal health, allergies, and much more. Release is planned in May.
